Yesterday I went to maldon which is very near heighbridge were I went last week but I love it there! We had lunch by the boating lake feeding the starling our crumbs and then went by the water. Saw Over 100 grey plover 8 avocet and 26 Black tailed godwit with 13 redshank. 3 oyster catcher racing up and down the water. On the grass there was high numbers of starling very close so I took my time in mastering "blurry background" I got there in the end and was pleased with my results. On the lake there was lots of starling taken a bath and a mallards too. There was lots of bh gulls and 1 gbb gull. It was a lovely day and good day birding too with some good photos taken too.
